My Favorite Radio Station

Hey readers!

What I like to listen to is a radio station called K-Love. You may have heard of it. It's a Christian station, and I love the songs! One of my favorites is called Overcomer by Mandisa (search it up on YouTube. It's good). Try K-Love. Who knows? It might become your fave radio station!

Fun Fact: Here's K-Love's website. Check it out. http://www.klove.com/

Shadowing

Hey readers!

Tomorrow at my school, some 5th graders are going to be shadowing my class. They're going to pair us up. In case you don't know, shadowing is when you just follow someone around and watch what they do. It's kind of like stalking, but you already know that they're going to follow you. Anyway, I'm really hoping I'm paired with a girl, not a boy. Especially some boys are super annoying and, no offense, weird. Still, I'm wondering what it'll be like. Last year, my class shadowed, but I had left early to go on vacation. So, yeah. Bye!

I Wonder: Will it be annoying or fun to have someone just following you until noon?

Happy Humpday!

I Wonder...

Hello guys!

So instead of Fun Facts, sometimes I'll be doing I Wonders. Because, sometimes, there's just really no new info to say. That's all. Sorry if it's confusing. I'm sure you'll get the hang of it. That's all for now!

U.S.S. Hornet

Hey again!

So today I went on the field trip, as you all know (it's in one of my previous posts). The U.S.S. Hornet is certainly big. The stairs inside are pretty steep. There were five stations. To tell you the truth, it got more and more boring. So it started out okay. New info coming in. Cool stuff to look at. By the third station, I was starting to get bored and hungry. By the fourth, I could tell that everyone was too. At the end of the last station, my teacher noticed us and told the instructor that we had to get lunch. We didn't even have snack! So we all went on to the flight deck to eat lunch. There were picnic table up there. Afterwards, there was this flight simulator thing. It's not you flying a plane from a computer screen. No. You get in this thing that has seats and can hold 14-15 people, and they start the machine. It feels like you're riding in the plane. I kind of expected it to be more fun, but it was ok. My chaperone/driver had to leave a little earlier, so we left. There wasn't anything good at the gift shop. Unless you like astronaut food. Which I don't. So that's pretty much it. Thanks for reading!

For the fun fact, scroll down to the post "Field Trip."

Good night!

Apologizing

Hello!

Sorry on Polyvore, if you follow me and I didn't follow you back, that's just because of security reasons. My parents don't want me to follow people I don't know. Just to let you know. Sorry!

No fun fact.

Field Trip

Hey guys!

Tomorrow, at my school, the middle school is going on a field trip to the U.S.S. Hornet. That's an aircraft carrier (yay). I hope that it's fun. Honestly, I'm not sure what it'll be like. Still, can't wait!

Fun Fact: The U.S.S. Hornet apperently has it's own website. Here it is: http://www.uss-hornet.org/

Magazines

Hi again!

Today I'm going to tell you my favorite magazines. So, the first one is more for the nerdier kinds of people. It's called National Geographic Kids. You may have heard of it before. I love it. It has all kinds of info and cool stuff, like stuff from the Guiness World Records. It also talks about animals and nature. It's pretty cool.
Next is for all you gals out there. It's called Discovery Girls. This is an amazing magazine, in my opinion. It talks about girl problems, debates, and contests. There is also fashion advice and embarrasing moments (that are funny). Totally check it out, girls.
That's all for today. Thanks for reading!

Fun Fact: Here's the Discovery Girls website if you want to see: http://www.discoverygirls.com/

Frozen!

Sup people!

I finally watched Frozen! It was amazing! And really funny! I would talk about it, but I don't know how many of you already saw it, and I don't want to spoil it for you. But you have to watch it. It's so good! I really like Olaf and Sven. They're hilarious! I know I put so many exclamation points in this post, but, seriously, for those of you who've already watched it, can you blame me? Watch Frozen, readers!

Fun Fact: Frozen was released on November 27, 2013 in the U.S.A. (Of course, where else?)

Bethany Mota

Hey readers!

So lately, I've been watching Bethany Mota on YouTube. Do you guys watch her? If you do, thumbs up! If you don't, try it. I love her stuff. It's kind of more for girls, so if you're a guy, you can try it, but I kind of doubt you'll like it. So, just a quick "Check It Out" post!

No fun fact:

Sweets!!!

Sup again!

So my school has this snack shack thing every Friday. There are 8th grade parents helping out, and there are tons of sweet stuff: brownies, cupcakes, cookies, fruit snacks, pop-tarts, Gatorade, and the occasional donut. There are also nachos and Cup-o-Noodles. It changes every week. Most stuff is a dollar or under, but some is over. For example, nachos are $1.50, but you can add extra chili and cheese for 50 cents more (I think).
Anyway, I always can't choose what to get! Usually, I just have a dollar. I may have not mentioned this before, but I have a huge sweet tooth. (What's amazing is that I've never had a cavity.) Do you guys like sweets? Answer on the poll to the right. Thanks!

Fun Fact: Apparently, ice cream was the first dessert ever made. Huh. I never knew that.

Blog Ideas + A Quick Book Review

Hey guys!

I want to know what you guys want to see on my blog. That way, I know what my audience wants. So if you have an idea, just comment below. Remember, the name of the suggester will be on the post. Thanks!
So I really like historical fiction. There's this series called Dear America, and I love it. You should try it. If you live near Fremont, the Fremont Main Library has tons. There's a whole shelf! Also, another series is called the Royal Diaries. It's like Dear America, but from the view point of royalty. For example, I just read one about Marie Antoinette. Then one about Cleopatra. I really like it. Seriously, check these out!

Fun Fact: Marie Antoinette was killed because, when she was queen of France, she spent money lavishly, always buying the richest clothes and the finest foods, while the people of France were starving. Finally, they took action and captured the royal family. Only one daughter escaped. (Source: the book!)

Tween Tips

Hello again!

I have something new to add to my blog. It's called Tween Tips. I'm gonna be giving out tips about all sorts of stuff, some of which may be kind of random (don't judge me). To find my Tween Tips, look to the left column of this blog. Found it? Good. I'll try to change it every week or so. Thanks!

Final Decision

Hey!

I've made up my mind. I'm going to keep my blog the way it is. To me, it looks cute, but also sophistocated on using just a couple colors. The style is simple and unique. That's it for now!

No fun fact.

An Update

Greetings once more!

Sorry about the weird "hello." I'm just trying to find new ways to say "Hello!" to you, 'cause just saying hello over and over again gets kind of old.
Anyway, I didn't get a chance to blog the past couple days. So here's what I've been doing:

Sunday, Jan. 19

I went to this little arcade near the beach. I didn't win very much. Then my mom wanted to go to the beach to watch the sunset. I had fun wading, even though it was a little cold! Then I didn't bring any towels ('cause this wasn't planned very well), so I had to brush wet sand from my feet. Later, we found paper towels in the car, but by then my feet were pretty clean. Typical. We drove back and had dinner at this sushi place ( I luv sushi!) with our pastor and his family. Went to bed afterwards.

Monday, Jan. 20

I drove back home. (Okay, so I didn't tell you guys this due to security reasons, but I was in Los Angelos for the wedding. Now that I'm back home, I think it's safe to tell you.) It was a 7 hour drive! I was soooooo bored! But I was pretty happy when I finally got home. Happy Martin Luther King, Jr. Day!

So now you know what I've been doing. I'm still hoping to see Frozen. I really, really want to! But for now, school is back in session. Grrr.

Fun Fact: On Sept. 4, 1781, a mission was founded and had a city called El Pueblo de Nuestra Señora la Reina de los Angeles del Río de Porciúncula.

The Wedding!

Hey guys!

I just had the time of my life! I just came back from the wedding. So the ceremony was kind of boring, due to the fact that most of it was in Chinese. But there were a few jokes that I got. Then, the banquet hall was pretty fun. The food was yummy (most of it), and I had a good time with my friend. A couple slow dances happened. The most fun part was at the end. Party songs came on, and I danced so much! Slowly and unsure at first, but I quickly warmed up when everyone else joined in. My feet are really sore right now. All I want to do is lie back and watch TV, but I have a paper due this Tuesday! Oh, well. I'll find a way.

Look at the post "A Wedding" to see the fun fact.

A Wedding

What's up!

It's Tween Blogger getting ready to attend a wedding! It's a friend from church getting married. I'm so excited! I just visited their hotel room, and the bride's dress is AMAZING!!! I can't wait for tomorrow, which is when the wedding is. I have an awesome dress to wear. Here it is:
It's more turquoise in real life. There are little silver buckles on the straps. And it's sparkly. That makes everything awesome (to me). So, can't wait!

Fun Fact: During and after the Middle Ages, weddings were usually just a union between two families, two businesses, etc. More politics, less love. (According to this random website. It seems okay.)

Great Jump No Detention Party

Hello again!

So yesterday, my school had a No Detention Party at Great Jump Sports! It was so much fun! Too bad it was only for, like, an hour and 15 minutes. But whatever. A lot of people went to the dodgeball pit. I tried a game, then decided not to play another. I spent most of my time in the trampoline area. Since the walls inside the area was trampoline material too, we would run/jump from one end, then smash into the other end. It was awesome! We ate and bought drinks, then went straight back to jumping. Thankfully, no one threw up! Near the snack bar, there were also these cheap arcade games. There was one were you had to cut the string holding the prize. Some kid spent five dollars and got an iPod 5! Everyone was crowding around him and checking it out. Eventually, everyone went back to jumping. I had so much fun!

Fun Fact: It's not really a fun fact, but here's Great Jump's website in case you want to check it out: http://www.greatjumpsports.com/

Hey readers!

So I'm thinking about changing my blog template and background, but I want to know what you guys think first! If you look to the right of this post, there's a poll relating to this subject. Please, please, please be honest. It won't hurt my feelings if you don't like it. I just want to know if I should change it or not. So thanks!

No fun fact because this was kind of just a heads-up.

Saturday, Jan. 11 Adventures

Hello!

So, today is about Saturday's stuff. I went to the Great Mall with my friend and my parents. I needed new sneakers, so we went to the Nike Factory Store. Took us a while to find a good pair of shoes, and they're a little big, but it was worth it. Then we went to the food court. Got a snack (hot dog on a stick, fries, lemonade, Cinnabon cinnamon rolls) then walked around a bit more. We passed Forever 21, and my friend and I wanted to check out the girls' section (not every Forever 21 has a girls' section. We got lucky 'cause this one did.) and my mom went in with us. She shopped on her own while we stayed in the section. I got two cute short-sleeved shirts that were polka-dotted and a pair of skinny sky blue jeans. Afterwards, we wanted to go to Old Navy and Gap (some of my faves!) but it was already late. Then we went back home, and my friend got picked up. I had an AWSOME day!

Fun Fact: Great Mall is located at Milpitas and has 169 stores and 29 restaurants!

Chinese School

Sup!

Hey, it's Tween Blogger coming to you right before my torture time. Yup. Chinese school. 2 hours of torture. There's really no better way of explaining it. It's deadly boring to me. Sunday afternoons, and that's what I'm doing. I hate it. I wish I didn't have to go. I also have a chapter test today, which makes it even worse.

Fun Fact: There are a ton of Chinese characters! (Source: Chinese school.)

Wish me luck!

Frozen and Other Movies

Hi guys!

I still haven't watched the movie Frozen yet! I can't wait! I might watch it tomorrow, but I'm not sure. Even though it's animated, it's still really cool. I love the songs "Let It Go" and "Do You Wanna Build A Snowman." Other movies that I've watched: Teen Beach Movie, Despicable Me 1&2, Christmas Angel, A Christmas Princess. Teen Beach Movie was awesome. I really love "Surfs Up" and "Cruisin' for a Bruisin'". Despicable Me was just hilarious. The minions are so funny! Christmas Angel is a really touching story. You guys should definitely watch it. It's on Netflix. A Christmas Princess is amazing, and has a bit of romance, if you like that. Also on Netflix. I really like watching movies.

Fun Fact: William Lincoln made a camera-like device that showed animated pictures. It was patented in 1867.

Pierced Ears

Sup Again!

Today I'm going to talk (or type) about pierced ears. I recently got my ears pierced last Tuesday at Claire's. If you want to get your ears pierced, go to Claire's. They explain everything and give you a bottle of the ear cleansing solution. You have to wash your ears 3 times a day. It's annoying but helpful. The actual piercing hurts quite a bit. More than a shot. I closed my eyes. I don't like to know when they're going to pierce my ear. It hurts for, like, the first 5 minutes. Then it slowly goes away. That's pretty much it for today. Thanks for tuning in!

Fun Fact: Earrings apparently appeared first in the Middle East. At least, that's what a random website says.

Homework

Hello!

Ugh, I hate homework. This post is basically me complaining about homework. If you hate homework as much as I do, comment below on what you'd rather be doing. I'd rather read and play on my electronics, and watch TV. I absolutely hate science homework. I don't even get half the stuff! In addition to homework, I also have piano and Chinese homework. Anyway, I don't really have that much to say.

No fun fact. Sorry, this subject was kind of weird. No one has information on who made homeowork.

School

Hey guys!

My school started up today. I'm kind of sad because then I don't get to sleep in and relax, but then again I'm happy because I get to see my friends. School's okay by me. I get pretty good grades, and I understand most of the things I learn. My favorite subject is history, then english, bible, math, and science. The only part I like about science is doing labs.
I put a poll up on the right-hand side. Vote for your favorite subject!

Fun Fact: Schools used to use slates and chalk. That was way back. Slates were little blackboards and the chalk was tied to the slate with a piece of string (I think).

Today's Activites

Hey guys!

Despite what the title of this post says, I really didn't do anything today. With all the holidays over, I just stayed home in my pajamas (they have super-cute penguins on them!). I watched this cool show called "Touch." It's on Netflix, so if you want to watch it, just go on Netflix. It's about this boy who doesn't talk at all, but he can see the future, and he tells his dad the future through numbers. It's way cool. Check it out.
Anyway, I wanted to go out riding my bike around the neighborhood, but my mom isn't really exercise-y, so I was stuck at home. I read, I wrote, I played electronics. I know, it's not very healthy. But I try. School is starting soon, so that means that P.E. is starting too. That's good, cause I'm really looking forward to it. My dad sometimes takes me around the neighborhood, but usually on Saturdays only, cause that's the only time when he's home. On Sunday, we go to church, and on Sunday afternoon, I have to go to Chinese school (blah). So, yeah.

Fun Fact: Tim Kring, the creator of "Touch," has made many other movies and TV shows. Movies include "Heroes" and "Bay Cove." TV shows include "Crossing Jordan" and "Touch."

Bye for now!

2014!

It's 2014!

Happy New Year from Tween Blogger! I stayed up until midnight last night. I just got back from San Fransisco. My family and some friends went to Pier 39 to have dinner and walk around. Then we went to Twin Peaks. The view was amazing! Sadly, I was a bit tired and couldn't enjoy it that much. But I still had fun.
What did you do on Jan. 1, 2014? Comment it below.

Sorry, no fun fact because my computer is having some problems. The Internet was slow.

Have a great 2014!
