I'm Tween Blogger here again with a poem. I wrote this for my school's Veterans' Day Chapel. I hope you like it!
We Thank You
Honoring those who fought in war,
For those who hid among the roar
Of gunshots and cannons on the shore.
We thank you!
Risking your life on land and air,
You battled to show you care,
For America you did your share.
We thank you!
Now in our beds we lay,
Thinking of how you helped in so many ways,
Freely we can say,
"Happy Veterans' Day!"
